Reunions
Details of the earlier reunions are a little vague a bit like the Booking Out Officers ‘where have you been’ on returning to Blackwells Court.
If anyone can tell me different then I would be glad to receive details.
There is a thought that a reunion was held at the new 66 Club after it moved from Telephone House but so far no-one can provide details, this would of course throw the list out of kilter but in the interest of getting it right give me the evidence, please!
1st Reunion exact date unknown held in 1972.

2nd Reunion exact date unknown held in 1976.

3rd Reunion 4th November 1977, approximately 130 attended.
Venue was the 66 Club at Telephone House 66, London road Leicester.
4th Reunion 21st November 1992, approximately 70 attended.
Venue was the Postal Lounge on the top floor of Campbell Street M.L.O.
5th Reunion 4th April 1998, approximately 70 attended.
Venue was Hotel Victory Aylestone Road Leicester.
6th Reunion 6th May 2000, approximately 80 attended.
Venue was Leicester Tigers Rugby Football Club Aylestone Road Leicester.
7th Reunion 20th March 2004, approximately 70 attended.

8th Reunion 8th April 2006, approximately 60 attended.

9th Reunion 5th April 2008, approximately 60 attended
Plus 1 Taxi Driver who was an Ex Telegram Boy who wished he had kept in touch and come!
